Enterprise Constituent Relationship Management
Penn State is adopting a new technology ecosystem, Enterprise Constituent Relationship Management (ECRM). ECRM will help to manage our relationships and constituent information, so we can continue to grow as a University alongside all of the members of the Penn State community.
Our Vision
Our ECRM culture, processes, and technologies create a nexus for constituent engagement. Across the University, we build collaborative connections, interactions, and data that help personalize, multiply, and deepen our Penn State relationships.

We Are
At our University, we recognize the diverse roles individuals play in shaping our community. Whether you’re a student, alum, supporter, staff, faculty, or community member, you’re an integral part of our family. Our connections grow in numerous ways, evolving through time and experiences shared.
Why It Matters
At the heart of ECRM is a simple truth: the stronger our connections, the greater the benefits for everyone involved. By enhancing engagement through tailored opportunities, we’re not just investing in technology; we’re investing in “return on relationship.” This approach ensures that both the University and its constituents reap the rewards of deepened, meaningful interactions.
How It Works
Putting constituents at the core, ECRM leverages cutting-edge technologies, like Salesforce, to illuminate and organize vital information. This enables more effective engagement from both sides, ensuring that every member of our community can connect with the University in the most impactful way possible.
